Some handy Outlook.exe command line parameters

To send a command line parameter to Outlook executable use following command format:

outlook.exe /parameter

/cleanprofile
cleans Outlook’s profile and recreates default registry keys.

/cleanviews
cleans custom views and restores defaults.

/firstrun
Starts Outlook as if it were run for the first time.

/noextensions
Start Outlook without extensions.

/nopreview
Start Outlook with Reading Pane off. Also removes the option from View menu.

/resetfoldernames
Resets default folder names to default names. Default depends on the Offices current user interface language.

/safe
Starts Outlook without extensions, Reading Pane, or customized toolbar.
